Based on The Who's iconic 1973 rock opera, this gritty British drama captures the angst and explosive energy of youth subcultures in 1960s London. The story follows Jimmy, a disillusioned young working-class Mod, who escapes his mundane job through amphetamines, tailored suits, customized scooters and the propulsive rhythm of soul music. His life peaks during a chaotic Bank Holiday weekend riot against rival Rockers on the beaches of Brighton.
