Haverfordwest Film Society

Set in rural China, two marginalised people are joined in an arranged marriage. At first awkward strangers, they grow into a tender companionship, finding solace in one another while enduring poverty, stigma and the harsh realities of village life. Their resilience quietly critiques a society that leaves them behind.
This film was originially due to be screened on the 16th of September 2025, but had to be moved to the work being done in the Merlin Theatre.
