Naive and at times enigmatic Magical and puzzling. The loss of a grandmother seen through the child’s imagination with a sort of “Stig of the Dump†scenarios. Beautifully shot in simple scenes. Brilliant. Very adult children. Where do they find them? Slow start but worth it. Wonderful! Loved this slow and thoughtful film. Great acting. It seemed somehow incomplete. I loved the opening sequence and also the sparseness of the dialogue. Left plenty to ponder. Promised more than it delivered. Lovely interaction between the girls. Too typical of weird French films. Lights at back of theatre too bright. DULL DULL DULL
