Stunning film A compelling performance although a troubled portrayal was ultimately uplifting and almost a joyous ending with the Handel! Wonderful face. Thank goodness she got the dog back from that hideous family. Wow. Very strange. A different world. Well titled. Such fortitude in the face of adversity. I wonder who got the flat! Nicely paced, very authentic. Tremendous performance from Marina. Excellent direction. Beautiful ending. Captivating, tense and compelling, but the plot was somewhat disjointed and elements weren’t followed through. Great performance and well shot in interesting locations. I would like to visit Santiago. Would Mrs Whitehouse have approved? Definitely a dog’s life. How did he/she get the dog back? Confused.com. Interesting, not that I claim to have understood it. Too many loose ends. I stuck with it but not a film I enjoyed. Unconvincing in plot and character. Intriguing. Storyline was shallow. Marina’s acting saved the film.
