Loved it, beautifully shot, very moving Stunning, beautiful and technically brilliant. Fabulous acting - the stairs of the film and the interiors and joinery! Excellent film. Wonderful photography/. Remarkable study of relationships. Stunning film. Excellent. what would Vivaldi have made of it? Great direction, camera work, lighting. Big screen perfect. Nice to be back. How do the French do it? Sensitively told - the coast could have been anywhere in Pembrokeshire. Lovely photography. Compelling and enjoyable. Beautifully imagined. I didn't warm to the characters. A smouldering affair finally caught fire. Some wonderful visuals on the seashore. Some clever elements (the Orpheus allusion, age 28) but overall too slow and uneventful for me.
