Like Dr Zhivago, love destroyed by the system. Brilliantly paced. Stunning. I could watch it again next week. Enjoyed the B&W photography. Plot was a bit disjointed. Very poignant. Excellent photography. A beautiful film of how complex love can be. Heartfelt; heart rending. A clever use of light throughout. But, will it end in tears. Lovely music, lots of gaps that left lots of questions. Not an easy watch as all seemed such a mess but overall enjoyable. Love the mirrors. Fabulous music of all genres – why not stay in Paris and be famous?
