Great direction. Wow. 127 minutes just flew by. Absolutely hooked. A most serious subject but done with a lot of humour. So, this is what it takes to make America great? Powerful and disturbing. I would not choose to watch KKK material but through humour this was very watchable but very powerful. Ooh! Powerful!! Right on, soul brother. Frightening but also uplifting. Time flew by. A powerful and disturbing film, but funny too. Very powerful and entertaining film with a serious message. Powerful message from Spike, well done by hooking our attention. Amazing. Spike does it again. Sound much better than expected. The juxtaposition of Trump at the end is very depressing! Sometimes difficult to balance the comedy/humour vs the very serious nature of the subject. The ending made it even more powerful. A difficult watch. Thought-provoking but amusing in parts. Disturbing. Terrific casting. Humour lifted the underlying seriousness of the situation in USA. Scary messages and sadly not just from the past. When will racism end? The system always wins! Pity about the degeneration into pantomime near the end. Felt the undercover was somewhat false – but the reality of the KKK was brought alive by the closing scenes.
