Very stylish, very French, some film. Estupenda Great choice of film for the club. Diva, a perfect example of that stylish humorous French cinema. The actors must have been chosen for their architectural faces. As expected, very French in style and content. Enjoyable. Beautiful music. Slightly arty, but great. Quirky and mad old fashioned film, just as I like it. Really brilliant – the directing – the plot, though simple, was taken through so many twists and turns. A romantic thriller – only the French can do it! Off the wall! Crazy mix, totally improbable, but captivating. Fun, and with some bizarre bits, typically French?? Out of the ordinary! Pace, direction, lighting and a thread of story. A+. Tres Kool!!! Complicated, but marvellous. Very, very French. Quite eccentric, but quite enjoyable! The French humour and sentiment is full flow if a little slow at times. Very French cinema! Enjoyable! Fascinating touches! A disjointed film but it got better the longer it ran. At least all the baddies got their come-uppence in the end! Gratuitous nudity, the good guys won however, though it could have done with being shorter, too much hanging about doing nothing! Enjoyed the music, and the Pythonesque scenes, but not clever enough to understand the plot.
