Funded by NZ tourist board? Ridiculous in places, but an interesting adventure. The two main characters – a most unlikely pair – really carried this satire very well. An original idea. Great film to finish on – loved it! Funny, sad, crazy characters, naïve but so entertaining. Great music too! Brilliant fun – majestical! Funny, sad, best film this year!! Love. Refreshing. Best feel good film for years! Delightful! What an amazingly good film. Great acting, very emotive. Thanks to the team for all the good films. Just right for pre-Christmas. Excellent – go Ricky! What a delightful film – a great end to the season. Second time even better. Every young lad’s dream to escape into the wilderness! Great film. Poignancy and laughter. A great pre-Christmas choice. A lovely film but what a pity I could not follow all the dialogue. A quirky feel good film. Amazing scenery. (Geology). Liked the NZ comedy. Funny film with a serious subject. A lovely feel good film. Highly amusing – a pleasant change from reality. Fun and quirky Kiwi story! Could have done with subtitles in between. Thank goodness for chapter 10! Best part was Leonard Cohen but over too soon.
